Kate has previously worked as a neuro-physicist and has published many papers on her specialism 'How healthy brains learn'. Since moving to Newbury she has been able to pursue her other passion in life, educating and inspiring young people about the Christian Faith. An experienced Youth and Children's Leader, Kate encourages active learning, with creativity and flair.
 

Kristina wants young people to know God loves them and to support young people to be able to ask the big questions about life and faith. In her previous role, Kristina spent many years providing pastoral support to university students at a scientific facility. She is excited to be able to engage with young people in an environment where she can share her faith and journey alongside others. 
 

Clare has worked in the primary school sector, both within local Newbury schools and privately as a maths tutor with individual students for many years. Having felt called to return to teaching, Clare decided to join COINS. It is the combination of encouraging and motivating children to learn about who Jesus is, as well as bringing her personal faith and gifts of worship, that Clare enjoys using within the COINS team.
