About Us 

Who are COINS Trust?

A charity created to support the teaching of Christianity in local schools. We are made up of a School Team (Leader and Session workers) and a team of six trustees, who oversee the governance of the charity.  We are also affiliated with wider organisations – we are a member of CTNA (Churches Together In The Newbury Area) and are a Local Mission Partner with Scripture Union.
 

What do we do?

We create and deliver content explaining Christianity to primary and secondary school students. This is through:

• Assemblies
• Events – The Christmas Gift, Easter Eggsplored and It’s Your Move
• Lunch Clubs
• Lessons
• Online resources

We love being creative and can collaborate with you on bespoke projects – simply get in touch!
 

What about safeguarding?

We have a safeguarding policy which includes all Session Leaders and Volunteers being DBS checked either by Scripture Union or the Diocese/Church of England.
 

What denomination is COINS?

COINS is non-denominational and represents a number of Christians in the local area, from different churches. We adhere to the Evangelical Alliance Statement of Faith.
