Pray for Our Work

Our prayer supporters are infinitely and eternally valuable. Prayer is one of our core values, so THANK YOU for being involved!
"Lord, teach us to pray."
These words are just as appropriate in thinking about praying for schools as when the disciples said them to Jesus. The Bible is full of examples of how God’s people prayed and God acted.

People often say “All I can do is pray.” In fact when Jesus saw the crowds coming to him he had compassion on them and he turned to his disciples and said “Pray to the Lord of the harvest to send out workers into his harvest field.” Praying is a vital part of schools ministry and not some sort of 'last resort.'

Here are some aspects of our work we would love you to pray for:
  • the clubs we run in primary and secondary schools
  • that our workers would be inspired to plan creative, interesting sessions and they would be encouraged in the work
  • that students that we've worked with in RE lessons
  • that the material presented will have an impact on them
  • pray for Christmas Cracked running each December and that the message of the real meaning of Christmas will be given clearly
  • that students would come to know God better or for the first time
  • our work in schools generally - that we would continue to be professional in conduct and faithful to God
  • that lives would be changed through the gospel work we do in schools.
  • thank God for the children and young people of Newbury
  • that the children that made their first professions of faith last year in some primary clubs would grow in their faith & that we would know how best to support them
  • Tania and the team - that they would be encouraged and built-up in their day-to-day work in schools
  • the local school nearest your home: the staff, students, trips, classes, clubs and meetings that go on there

COINS has many more opportunities for it's workers to get involved in than there are workers, so we would really appreciate your generous donation so that we can not only continue to fund the work that we are currently doing, but also get involved in all those other exciting opportunities.
